2018 Syrah Reserve, Jack McGinley Vineyard – 91 points
The color from this very cool vintage is darker than normal. Red raspberries dominate the nose. The raspberry expands to red plum on the palate. The extended growing season gives this wine very silky tannins. The finish is gentle and long.

2018 Syrah Reserve, Tierra Alta Vineyard – 91 points
Earth, saddle leather, and red fruit hit you on the nose. The red fruit takes over on the palate with very silky tannins and a great mouth feel. The finish is just wonderful.

The nose has lovely smoked meat aromas and a hint of herbs. The mouth feel is fresh and sexy with silky tannins. The finish is very pleasant.

2018 Syrah Reserve, Watch Hill Vineyard – 92 points
The first thing you notice is the almost black color typical of this vineyard. Vanilla and plum are prevalent on the nose. This is the most tannic of our wines this vintage, but still very smooth. The finish is long and intense.
